I’m still figuring out what to send to all of you wonderful people who have chosen to support my writing. If you know me, then you know that my worlds revolve around words. Ironically, I can’t find the right ones just now to express my gratitude. Instead, here’s something that you can expect:
As a thank you, I would be happy to look over your writings, half-finished thoughts, or even give you an editorial push! These are my specialties - poetry, memoir, essays, think pieces, and creative non-fiction. I can also help you with your CVs, cover letters, and personal statements for academic programmes.
How about a literary club? Send me your Netflix, books, and movies recommendations and we can expose the skeletons of your favourite reads and series, together. Currently, I am absolutely obsessed with cult documentaries and this is my favourite - Wild Wild Country.
News from India in bite-sized snippets and long form essays. A large part of why I started this paid newsletter (I prefer to call it a publication), is because the press today in India is more propaganda than real time information. Writing is the most enduring form of resistance: at least that’s what I think.
All of my life updates - from the thrift shop on Instagram to my research, will first be published on here. So if you think that my life is even a little bit interesting, stick around.
I’m now working on my second novel, so I’ll be publishing some chapters and poetry here first! (I’m still working out the details on what I can publish independently without disadvantaging my future self, so bear with me.)
Above all else, I’ll be publishing regularly, so you’ll have always have something new to read.
P.S. - If you happen to find any spelling errors/typos, please assume that I haven’t slept all night.
